The DREAM Program, Inc. in is currently seeking a dynamic individual to help support DREAM mentors and youth as a Program Empowerment AmeriCorps Members for our Burlington and Bennington, V, Philadelphia, and Boston offices. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and we seek to fill this position ASAP.

DREAM’s Program Sites (groups of college students mentoring children from an affordable housing community) are the heart of the organization. The primary responsibility of Program Empowerment AmeriCorps Members is to ensure that mentors have the necessary resources, training, and support to run an amazing mentoring program and empower children to DREAM big. Program Empowerment AmeriCorps Members spread contagious energy, model empowerment, and assist with action planning in a number of venues such as mentor meetings on college campuses, adventure trips around the Northeast, and outdoor skill building in the woods at Camp DREAM.

Program Empowerment AmeriCorps Members drive DREAM’s mission, backed by a support team. In addition to mentor support, each Program Empowerment AmeriCorps Member will collaborate with support team members to implement projects and improve our resources for children, families, and mentors.
