Description

Join the Walama Restoration Project for a site tour and work party in Whilamut Natural Area's upland prairies. Virtually all habitat restoration activities at this site have been implemented by volunteers, and we welcome you to come and see what our community has accomplished together. We will be removing invasive weeds, followed by a plant walk and tour of the area. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. We provide gloves, tools, and FREE refreshments and t-shirts for all participants.

Meet us north of the Knickerbocker Bridge in Alton Baker Park along Pre's Trail from 12-3pm. Please note this site is walk/bike access only and parking is available near the University or Alton Baker Community Garden. To find the exact location, search for "Walama Restoration Project Site" in Google Maps.
