Description

Volunteers in this project will teach the youth in the town of Kordiabe and help them obtain skills in different areas. Educational support is greatly needed in the area as skillful labor force is lacking and the standard of education is low.

The volunteers will teach English, Math, Information and communications technology (ICT), Animal husbandry and agriculture, and sports. Volunteers’ help may be also needed in some manual tasks such as farming, carpentry and masonry.

During the free time the volunteer there is a possibility for visiting the Shai hills monkey sanctuary where volunteers can come up close to monkeys such as chimpanzee, baboons and other species. They may also visit the biggest manmade lake in the world, as well as Wli waterfalls where volunteers can swim.
