Description

People for Successful REunification (PSCORE) is a non-profit, non-religious, non-partisan NGO in Seoul, South Korea. PSCORE is comprised of both South and North Korean nationals, as well as hardworking students, interns, and volunteers from around the world who share a common interest and passion for North Korean human rights issues, are in favor of the North Korean defectors to become self- supporting and ultimately the reunification of the Korean peninsula.

In our 1:1 mentoring project we match volunteer tutors and working professionals with North Korean defectors seeking to develop their English language skills, math and essay writing skills as well as their knowledge of cultural norms and practices around the world. Our program helps defectors adjust to the South Korean education system and enhances their abilities to communicate and convey their ideas in a range of situations, both interpersonal and at the workplace.

We are looking for volunteer tutors! If you are either currently residing in Korea, or visiting Seoul for a few weeks and interested in tutoring, please do not hesitate to contact us.
