Description

AYPAD Skills Training Center is an initiative that seeks to provide youth with market driven technical job skills and training for the hospitality industry that will enable them to secure steady, well-paying jobs and become productive members of society in their community. Curriculum will include areas of focus such as tailoring, welding, auto mechanics, and carpentry. 


The Center provide personal and social competencies. Subset classes are foundational to the program which focus on English proficiency, Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development. Support in relevant skills development for youth, male and female, is a timely intervention that allows strategic approach that will contribute to the sustainable implementation of the Skills center. The intervention is focusing on supporting the reform process of marginalized population. That is, strengthening young people, regional and local skills development stakeholders, and piloting new competitive and demand-driven Skills Development Fund mechanisms. 


Recently received a set of Tools to start our project in Sierra Leone and we seek interested Volunteers that has knowledge in Tailoring, woodwork/ Carpentry, Auto mechanic and welding to help teach young people that will involved in the project .

The Goals of the projects are:

1. To provide short, hands-on competency based training programs that equip trainees.

2. To provide entrepreneurial acumen and productive competencies needed for employment.

3. To raise the quality and quantity of skills provision for youth in Africa. 

4. To provide of accredited training for non-formal courses in Africa.

.We will help volunteer with the following services.

This include Visa for 1 month to participating country,Lodging for 2 weeks in a family home stay with your own bedroom, breakfast, Dinner for 2 weeks, clean bottled drinking water, Orientation, airport pickup and drop off, sight seeing and donation to the project activities .

volunteers will only have to make arrangement for their flights.

Volunteer should work with us to do a documentary on their stay before they travel back to home country.

Volunteers can apply by sending an email to the organization at info@aypadinternatonal.org and they should be able to stay at least 2 weeks or a month. We have placement all year round
