Company Description
Bloom is a Philadelphia-based strategic planning and organizational development consultancy firm, striving in anti-racist ways to serve clients primarily in the preK-12 and social service nonprofit sectors. We work hard to do good work well with organizations and systems serving vulnerable and often historically oppressed or marginalized communities. Since 2015, our work has impacted literally millions of people in the greater Philadelphia area, across Pennsylvania, and around the country.
Bloom is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a diverse and pluralistic workplace. We strongly encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
Position Overview
The Office Administrator and Project Assistant (OAPA) supports the internal operations of Bloom, including office management and back-office client and project support. The OAPA will also manage administrative assistant duties (e.g., calendar management and scheduling, light research activities, comparison shopping for office products, software, hardware, and services) for the Managing Director, and on occasion, additional members of the core team. The OAPA will primarily work with Bloom’s core team members, and there will be some interaction with clients around project logistics and meeting support. Like all team members, the OAPA will ultimately be committed to furthering Bloom’s mission of delivering high-quality, accessible products that promote positive change, equity, and social good all while maintaining the authenticity of Bloom’s brand.
The OAPA reports directly to the Director of Strategy & Operations (DSO), LaVonna Ricketts. They may be supervised by other Bloom team members on project-specific work and would be part of a highly collaborative core team of smart, capable, productive people who like to laugh.
