    Gladstein, Reif & Meginniss, LLP is seeking a skilled, part-time office manager (e.g., 15-22.5 hours/week) to join our collegial and dynamic team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and support the smooth functioning of our office. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a positive and efficient workplace, and helping our small, union-side law firm as we continue to fight for workers’ rights and social justice.

    In this role, you will:

      • Support the firm’s operations by maintaining office systems, interfacing with vendors, and negotiating contracts, leases and insurance renewals.
      • Maintain office services by overseeing office operations and office procurement, onboarding new employees, supervising administrative staff, preparing payroll, managing firm-related correspondence, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
      • Assist with firm management by handling billing issues as they arise, summarizing financial information, and calculating attorney’s fees.
      • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget and planning and scheduling expenditures.

    Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications and skills:

      • Proficiency with common office software (specifically, Microsoft office, particularly Excel, is a must; experience with Prolaw is a plus).
      • Ability to multitask, prioritize to-dos, and maintain an organized office environment.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, clients, and vendors effectively.
      • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to office operations, facilities, or staff.
      • Builds relationships with colleagues, manages conflict, and fosters a positive office environment.
      • Experience supervising staff, delegating tasks, and providing training and mentorship.
      • Ensuring accuracy in documentation, financial transactions, and other administrative tasks.
