Our clients include some of the most prominent and effective progressive organizations across the country. Over the past 30 years, the Bonner Group has developed and executed successful fundraising programs for a wide variety of clients including major non-profit organizations, Presidential campaigns, House, Senate and Gubernatorial campaigns, ballot initiatives, capital campaigns, and '527' organizations.

    JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional to join our team as an Account Assistant with a focus on scheduling and event coordination. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the team by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and assisting with the planning and execution of events, conferences, and client engagements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys managing logistics and details to keep projects and events running smoothly. This position offers hands-on experience in both operations and event management, with opportunities to work closely with principals, senior staff, and vendors.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Scheduling & Calendar Management: Coordinate and maintain calendars for senior team members, schedule internal and external meetings, and ensure all logistical details are confirmed.
    • Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events, conferences, and client meetings, including venue research, vendor communication, travel arrangements, and on-site support.
    • Meeting Support: Prepare and distribute agendas, itineraries, and briefing materials. Manage RSVPs, confirmations, and follow-up communications.
    • Vendor & Venue Liaison: Coordinate with vendors and venues to ensure contracts, logistics, and timelines are on track; flag and escalate issues to the appropriate team members as needed.
    • Operational & Administrative Support: Help with day-to-day operations, project tracking, and team logistics to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain event and meeting records, contact lists, and shared resources to support team organization and continuity.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Highly Organized: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive & Reliable: Takes initiative, follows through on tasks, and can anticipate team needs; must be able to work in person five days a week.
    • Personable & Professional: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and respectfully with leadership, clients, and vendors while maintaining discretion.
    • Team player: Builds positive working relationships, approachable, and willing to support colleagues.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
    • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in operations, scheduling, executive support, or a similar role.
