Solid Chops Accounting is a small but growing firm in South Tacoma that provides outsourced accounting and tax services exclusively to nonprofits. Services include bookkeeping, payroll services, month end close, financial statement preparation, budgeting and 990 filing.
We are hiring a full time, Bookkeeper to join our team to work with multiple nonprofit clients. Ideal candidates will be able to juggle multiple priorities, while managing client expectations. We work with multiple software products including: Excel, Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks Desktop, Xero, Gusto, Dropbox and Google Drive. Nonprofit and multi-client experience is preferred. This listing is open to entry level applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payables for multiple clients, tracking for programs, grant or other categorization
- Manage accounts receivable, sending invoices and recording deposits
- Assist with grant billing
- Managing transactions imported from other systems (shopping carts, donor databases, etc)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience working in a multi-client environment
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
