Entry Level Legal Project Assistant

The Choice, Inc. is supporting a global advisory firm, providing ongoing project support to their DC office’s litigation division.

This project provides valuable entry-level professional experience, contributing to a large-scale class action case that is helping to advocate for people affected by health-harmful products.

Previous legal experience is not required, however this could be a great opportunity for someone considering legal/paralegal studies in the future.

Job Duties:

This role will entail the review and analysis of large sets of closed claim documentation, then extracting and recording key case information to help build stronger future evidence. The position will also require some data review/standardization support. This position does not require any direct contact or work with the claimants

Required Qualifications:

• A completed Bachelor's degree- open to a variety of fields including business, legal studies, , statistics, economics, etc.
• Some previous experience working with data/legal/research are helpful
• Some previous experience/familiarly with Excel

Expected schedule: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in the office is required, Mondays and Fridays are optional remote days. Required core hours: 9AM-6PM. The office is very convenient to Metro (Foggy Bottom/Farragut North/Farragut West are close walking distance. Modern office and you will have access to the gym and rooftop deck.

Timeframe: This is an open-ended contract position. The position is very likely to go well into 2025, depending on the volume of the case.

Salary: $27.00 per hour
