Care2Rock

Care2Rock was created by Karyn Scott, founder of Kids in a New Groove [KING], an Austin-based nonprofit that has enriched the lives of Central Texas children in the foster care system through music since 2009. Seeing how KING not only gave consistency and joy to hundreds of kids in foster care, but also helped them graduate high school, and enter into adulthood with a set of learned skills, a means of creative expression, a solid adult relationship and a sense of self-worth, Karyn sought to expand the program’s impact across America – and Care2Rock was born as a social enterprise.
