South Lane Mental Health is hiring a new Human Resources to join our team! If you are looking to use your skills and expertise as a Human Resources professional to support mental health provision that is so critically needed, particularly these days, and get to work for a mission-driven non-profit with stellar coworkers, here’s your chance.
South Lane Mental Health started in the 1980s in Cottage Grove, Oregon as a nonprofit driven to renew hope and restore lives by meeting people where they are at – and the mission is still the same all these years later. We have a staff of almost 100 who work a variety of programs that allow us to provide a wide range of mental health services to people of all ages in rural Lane County. We are a group of folks who want to do good and help others – we share similar morals and goals, and sleep pretty easy at night knowing we have made a difference for our clients and supported each other while doing it.
At the head of a three-person HR team, the HR Manager at South Lane Mental Health will coordinate the HR functions at the agency, including recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, compliance, and personnel policies and procedures. The HR Manager will also support the agency’s Directors, managers, and staff in maintaining and furthering our supportive agency culture of inclusion, flexibility, respect, and compassion for our staff and our clients.
We also believe our staff are humans and deserve 5 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) a year, plus nine paid holidays, because burnout is a thing. We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned; we offer up to 12 weeks fully paid family and medical leave when you need to take an extended period of time off to care for yourself or a loved one. We fully pay the costs of employees’ health insurance—including in-network co-pays and deductibles.
