Through a combination of mentoring and transformative experiences, Summer Search supports young people to successfully transition from adolescence into adulthood. THE OPPORTUNITY
Summer Search National is seeking an Accounting Manager to play an active and high touch role in ensuring our accounting processes are timely, accurate, efficient, and consistent across Summer Search’s five sites and national team.
This an exciting new position offering the opportunity to play a key role on the finance team at a dynamic multi-site national non-profit. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Accounting Manager will join a tenured, established, and collaborative Finance Team.

The Accounting Manager role calls for a highly organized accounting professional who approaches work with an analytical and customer-oriented mindset. Specifically, this hire will bring:

This is a fully remote role with the option of working part or full-time out of our National office in Oakland, California or one of our regional offices in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, or Seattle. New hires must be residing in one of their following states by their first day of employment: California, Washington, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Colorado.
Summer Search requires all its staff be vaccinated against COVID-19. Employees who are unable to be vaccinated due to a medical reason or sincerely held religious objection may be able to qualify for an exemption, consistent with state and federal law.
