    Descripción

    VIDAS (Vital Immigrant Defense Advocacy and Services) provides trauma-informed immigration legal advocacy and wellness services across California’s North Bay. Rooted in equity, legal excellence, and collective care, VIDAS builds lasting power for immigrant communities and honors the leadership of those most impacted by injustice.

    We practice Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF), prioritizing transparency and mutual benefit between our organization, donors, and community. We believe sustainability begins with care for both our team and the people we serve.

    VIDAS seeks a Grants Administrator to manage the tracking, reporting, and compliance of existing grants. This role ensures that all grants are implemented in alignment with funder agreements and organizational goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and values the behind-the-scenes work that keeps mission-driven programs funded and accountable.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of existing grants post-award, including deliverables, expenditures, and reporting.
    • Maintain a grants calendar to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
    • Collaborate with Finance and Program teams to prepare narrative and financial reports.
    • Monitor compliance with funder and organizational policies.
    • Maintain positive, transparent relationships with funders and support CEO with updates and site visits.
    • Contribute to improving systems for tracking, documentation, and reporting.
    • Promote a culture of compliance, transparency, and shared ownership of grant outcomes.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 3+ years in grant management, compliance, or fund administration.
    • Proven success managing complex grant portfolios.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Alignment with VIDAS’ values of justice, equity, and trauma-informed practice.

    Preferred:

    • Familiarity with nonprofit budgeting and grant compliance.
    • Experience with Salesforce or similar software.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages relevant to immigrant communities.
    • Understanding of Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) principles.
