Recruitment Coordinator

Community Legal Aid (CLA) is the non-profit legal services program providing free civil legal assistance to low-income residents of central and western Massachusetts. CLA has over 100 dedicated, talented staff working across multiple offices, and a budget of over $14 million.

CLA seeks someone to join our team as a Recruitment Coordinator (RC) working out of our Worcester office. The RC will be part of CLA's human resources department and will develop an annual recruitment plan, sustain and expand relationships with law school career services offices, coordinate participation in and attend career fairs, oversee and coordinate the job posting process, screen resumes, and manage relationships with candidates. The RC will also identify potential fellowship candidates and work with CLA's development team in the preparation of fellowship applications.

The RC will also oversee CLA's summer internship program, which involves recruiting students and working with CLA's staff to manage the programming for weekly lunch sessions. The RC will also serve on CLA's DEI committee and help advance CLA's DEI goals in all hiring and retention activities. The RC may also assist CLA's retention efforts, including assisting with the planning and implementation of various wellness initiatives. The RC will also assist with a variety of HR-related activities, including the onboarding and orientation process for new staff. Full-time or part-time options available.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree required, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources.
• Prior HR experience strongly preferred, including with recruitment and retention activities.
• Comfortable with technology and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Applications, including Excel.
• Must be patient and flexible, organized, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet competing deadlines.
• Very strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Experience in the nonprofit sector a plus.
