Electoral Organizer (GenVote Ascender)

BECOME A GENVOTE ASCENDER

We are looking for 10 young BIPOC organizers to join GenVote Ascenders, a first-of-its-kind organizing program to mobilize young people around Secretary of State races in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Massachusetts. The GenVote Ascenders Program is a paid opportunity for a cohort of highly-motivated young people from historically marginalized backgrounds to work on critical Secretary of State elections across the country. Ascenders will gain high-level experience in leadership development, communications, community organizing and electoral strategy (including phone/text-banking, voter registration).

The Ascenders Program starts August 12, 2022, and runs through November 13, 2022.

To Apply: Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis between July 14 - August 4. We cannot guarantee your application will be reviewed if submitted after August 4 at 11:59 pm EST.

The ideal Ascender:

• Must be a young resident of Arizona, Michigan or Nevada
• The ideal Ascender is passionate about our issues, independent self-starters, detail-oriented and able to multi-task!
