Job Path’s Supported Employment program is seeking a creative and energetic individual to customize jobs for the people we support, which includes youth on the autism spectrum and adults with developmental disabilities. Using customized employment strategies, we pinpoint the skills and talents people can bring to the workforce and the conditions they need to be successful on the job. Then we work with employers to create a job match that works for the business and the job-seeker.
This position requires community based work in NYC, however, there is flexibility for certain administrative tasks are able to be completed remotely or in Job Path's office.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following tasks:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or in job development, this requirement may be waived for applicants who have an extensive experience in working in a community based setting with people with developmental disabilities.
Salary: Annual salary of $35,000–$37,000 depending on education and experience, eligible for overtime
