We are led by Dr Tom Frieden, former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since 2017, Resolve to Save Lives has partnered with low- and middle-income country governments, multi-lateral agencies, academic and other civil society partners, and communities to build capacity for and support implementation of enabling policies and effective programs to treat and control hypertension, reduce sodium intake, eliminate artificial trans fat, and strengthen systems for epidemic prevention. Job summary:
Resolve to Save Lives is seeking a Communications Officer to support our work creating effective and compelling public health communications. Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, the Communications Officer is responsible for a wide variety of tasks, such as creating written and digital materials for a range of audiences, supporting top-tier media interviews, developing behavior change communication campaigns, managing advocacy and communication partnerships, and developing strategic communications plans to support our team and program goals.
The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment. You’re a creative thinker, have a track record of taking initiative and meticulously executing multiple projects. You are a superb writer and have experience crafting compelling copy and content. Importantly, you’re interested in learning more about a wide range of communications and you're passionate about our mission.
This full-time position is remote. The incumbent will be expected to convene periodically for in-person team meetings and to work during East Coast core working hours. The salary range for this role in the US is $68,000 to $75,000, depending on level of experience.
