Summary: Liaison between the NHBA, NHBA members and the NHBF Directors.
The Associate Executive Director is the public face of the Foundation, representing the Foundation to internal and external audiences, conveying the mission of the Foundation, and motivating stakeholders to work for and with the Foundation to achieve its strategic goals. The Associate Executive Director should have a personal commitment to access to justice.
Strong customer service orientation and quick response to member, non-member, grantor, grantee and director requests. Management of IOLTA funds, funds held with NH Charitable Foundation and other donated and/or awarded funds. Responsible for record-keeping, administering fundraising drives, administration of events, grant processing, writing or requesting articles for publication in NH Bar News and/or other publications and overall administrative support of the organization. The position is under the general supervision of the NHBA Executive Director, who is also the NHBF Executive Director, but the Associate Executive Director is expected to be a decision-maker and in charge of the operations of the NHBF on a day-to-day basis. Strategies or questionable issues will be discussed with the Executive Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Administratively supports the NHBF Board of Directors and Committees to include but not limited to scheduling meetings, preparing documentation and reports as requested and developing agendas;
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

The NHBA offers medical insurance with a partial offset to the employee deductible via an HRA, dental insurance, short and long term disability insurance, life insurance and a variety of optional insurances such as accident, cancer, vision and voluntary life.
Following the first anniversary date, the NHBA contributes 7% of salary for all eligible employees to a profit-sharing plan which vests in the employee's name after 6 years.
Vacation and sick days which increase after 3 years of continuous service. Thirteen scheduled holidays per year.
