The NYU Furman Center invites applications for a Data and Research Analyst to join the Housing Solutions Lab (Lab). The Lab is housed at the Furman Center and works with cities across the country to design, monitor, and evaluate promising local housing policies. The Lab seeks to help cities advance evidence-based local housing policies that center racial equity, increase access to opportunity, and support resident health and well-being. The Data and Research Analyst will play a critical role in the Lab’s growing research, evaluation, and technical assistance activities by contributing to all aspects of data management and analysis for a diverse set of projects.
The position requires working as a part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team engaged in multiple projects concurrently. The successful candidate will be well-versed in data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis, and in presenting results in creative, visually appealing ways for a range of policymaker, practitioner, and academic researcher audiences.
We seek a highly organized person for this role, with superior written and verbal communications skills, and excellent project and time management ability.
