JOB DESCRIPTION:
NDI is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our growing Development team full-time in a hybrid capacity at our state-of-the-art facility in Harlem.
An integral leader of the department, the Deputy Director of Advancement will report to the Chief Advancement Officer and will be responsible for the administration of the development department with two direct reports and a major gifts portfolio. Key to success in this role will be identifying and building relationships with new high net worth and ultra-high net worth prospects, as well as strengthening relationships with existing major donors to maximize philanthropic support.
This is an exciting opportunity for to be a leader of a dynamic fundraising team whose vision is to support National Dance Institute’s work in providing the highest quality arts education programs to over 6,500 New York City public school children each year. The candidate must be an exceptional writer, a creative thinker, a team player, detail oriented, and deadline sensitive.
