Job Summary
Accountable for matters related to data systems, reporting, and event logistics. Supports leadership on regular data reporting to funders, ABA, and other entities, as well as event logistics, to promote and advance CILA’s work with advocates for immigrant children.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
-Tracks and maintains data related to provision of Division services as well as data useful to grant reporting.
-Maintains up-to-date contact management in database system.
-Assists staff with accurate and timely entry and reporting of data. Investigates data discrepancies, troubleshoots data system malfunctions, and utilizes data to explore suspected trends.
-Supports leadership on regular data reporting to funders and other entities, as well as in the form of special reports as designated by Division.
-Manages the virtual logistics and data for CILA’s substantive trainings, including registration, continuing education applications, event execution, and database management.
-Reviews and manages inquiries from attorneys and non-attorneys in general email inboxes.
-Manages, updates, and maintains membership for CILA’s email listservs.
-Tracks, analyzes, and transfers telecommunications.
-Performs other related duties as required.
Required Education, Qualifications, Experience
Associate’s degree and 2 years of job-related experience, or 4 years of relevant work experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Familiar with database design and maintenance, data collection, and reporting. Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Teams). Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in-person, by telephone, and email with a variety of audiences. Must be familiar with conducting virtual meetings and trainings on software such as Zoom, Teams, etc.
Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience
Prior volunteer, community, or work experience regarding immigration or detention. Prior experience in a nonprofit setting, particularly in roles involving data management and event logistics. Prior experience in legal and/or social services-oriented organizations. Proficiency in English and Spanish in written and oral forms.
