The Executive Director is a key person in the management of the headquarters of alpha Kappa Delta Phi, an international Asian-interest sorority with 58 chapters located at numerous universities across the United States and in Canada. Thousands of undergraduate and alumnae members support the rapidly growing network of strong and successful leaders, in which the role of Executive Director is vital to moving the sorority forward in its strategic objectives and maintaining university and community partnerships. The Executive Director will lead the team of volunteer staff within the framework of delegated authority and shall act as the sorority’s director for all operational matters.

Who will you be working with?
You will report to the Board of Directors and lead roughly 25 volunteer staff officers and committee members. You will support the interests of both alumnae members and undergraduate members/chapters. You will also have the opportunity to work with university partners and develop strategic partnerships within various constituent groups, aligning with the sorority’s initiatives.
Where is this role based?
This role is part-time (max 20 hours per week, no benefits included) and is remote. Team members are based across 3 time zones in North America and primarily work virtually. Provided it is safe to do so, team members will travel and meet in-person 2-3 times each year for the annual convention and team retreats.
