About National Park Trust

National Park Trust’s mission is to preserve parks today and develop park stewards for tomorrow. Our creative and innovative programs advance public parks, lands, and waters as spaces that are welcoming and accessible to every person in every community. We believe that our public parks, lands, and waters should be cared for, enjoyed by, and preserved by all for current and future generations.

As a national nonprofit organization located in the Washington D.C. metro area, the Park Trust works closely with the National Park Service to acquire important privately owned lands to expand and complete our national parks. We also annually engage tens of thousands of students from under-served communities across the country with the great outdoors. By introducing a new generation of children to our public lands and waters, we are cultivating future caretakers of our natural, historical, and cultural resources.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Development Coordinator to support the Park Trust's rapidly growing fundraising efforts that fuel all of our programs. This new staff member will support the Director of Development in a broad range of fundraising initiatives.
