    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Has responsibilities across multiple areas, primarily focusing on sweSwag, the SWE online store and communications for the scholarship program. The position involves driving online store visibility and sales through the development and execution of tailored marketing strategies. This involves monitoring KPIs, conducting market research, and managing inventory levels to optimize offerings and pricing. Additionally, the role entails devising marketing strategies and managing communications for the SWE Scholarship Program. This coordinator will also liaise and ship materials for partnering diversity conferences and provide additional support for other administrative tasks when needed.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. SWE Store Management (65%)
      1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to diverse demographics to enhance online store visibility and drive sales
      2. Strategically feature products, promotions, and special initiatives to optimize marketing effectiveness
      3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to assess campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet quarterly and annual sales goals
      4. Analyze quarterly data and research comparable businesses (ex: collegiate bookstores, other nonprofit org shops) to identify future growth opportunities for the store
      5. Manage Amazon and SWE HQ inventory levels, optimizing product offerings and pricing quarterly
      6. Continuously search for new products to introduce quarterly, while managing existing product lifecycle
      7. Fulfill seller orders and update website content to reflect product changes
    2. SWE Scholarship Program - Communications (30%)
      1. Develop, edit, and schedule scholarship communications to various stakeholders via the Kaleidoscope Connect portal
      2. Create compelling marketing materials that target various demographics to increase scholarship applicants
      3. Analyze marketing efforts and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization
      4. Update marketing materials annually, including scholarship flyers and webpages
      5. Provide back-up support for the scholarship program as needed
    3. Additional Responsibilities (5%)
      1. Provide backup support for administrative duties, including onboarding tasks and email service case management
      2. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for relevant areas
      3. Undertake other duties as assigned with initiative

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Strong verbal and written skills
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications; Internet and technology savvy
    • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to respond to inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take ownership of projects within their function

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position has no supervisory responsibility.

    TRAVEL & SCHEDULE:

    This position works 40 hours a week.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of experience required.
    • Previous experience within communications
    • Previous e-commerce experience is a plus
