In This Role You Will:

  • Conduct property enforcement patrols to enlighten visitors of the property rules using "authority of the resource" principles to ensure compliance.
  • Identify, report, and correct safety hazards. Conduct visitor engagement to provide property and ecology information and encourage them to use the property in a safe and low impact manor.
  • Deep cleaning of campground restrooms and showers in accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of public health guidelines.
  • Conduct property stewardship tasks such as routine facility and property cleaning, fencing,
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, and maintenance needs to the Superintendent.
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation



Qualifications:

  • A genuine commitment to the values and mission represented by The Trustees
  • Excellent visitor contact/customer service skills
  • Ability to work closely with other staff, as wells as independently without supervision
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors effectively, both verbally and through written report
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat and rain
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform strenuous assignments
  • Ability to remain calm, exercise confidence, and be articulate when confronted by uncooperative visitors or when handling emergencies
  • 18+ years old, possess a current driver’s license and good driving record
  • Satisfactory background check required


Working Conditions:

  • Variable outdoor weather conditions. Ability to lift 40 pounds required.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • This is a seasonal, non-exempt, hourly paid position, with an optimal start date as soon as possible. This position is based in Provincetown, MA.
