If you’ve ever given online to a Democrat or progressive organization, chances are you’ve used our powerful online fundraising platform.

We put power in the hands of small-dollar donors and help thousands of groups — from presidential candidates to environmental organizations —  build grassroots movements. We envision a democracy where everyone looking to make progressive people-powered change can easily and effectively deploy their resources, energy, and creativity to shape our country and futures. Each and every one of us, from the political activists to the tech innovators to the customer service pros, is fully committed to our mission.

The Program Success engineering teams seek to build reliable, frictionless, and insightful software solutions that enable political campaigns and progressive organizations to engage with their communities sustainably and ethically.

You should have strong product instincts as well as an appreciation for and understanding of agile and user-centered design values, principles, and practices.

You will be joining one of the Program Success sub-teams and work collaboratively with a distributed team comprised of an engineering manager, product designer, 3-6 engineers to deliver engaging experiences for campaigns and organizations. Your manager will be your champion and coach and will help ensure you are able to grow as an individual while you contribute to the excellence and advancement of our platform.

  • Communicate plans, status, and risks (plus mitigations) to all stakeholders
  • Triage and escalate urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure
  • Facilitate product education and onboarding amongst internal staff
  • Foster a data-driven mindset, where everything important is measured
  • Nurture a psychologically safe and inclusive team environment where everybody feels excited to contribute

  • Demonstrable experience in product management, working with cross-functional teams and the growth of complex web applications
  • Ability to drive long-term strategy while effectively managing and prioritize the execution details of ongoing projects on your team
  • Strong communication skills with a team-centric and remote-reliant approach to discussion and collaboration
  • Attention to detail for the design and usability of our customer experiences and empathy for our users’ needs
  • Experience making product decisions through data-driven measurements and user research
  • Competency in authoring concise, well-formed product documentation
  • A strong desire for fostering inclusivity and belonging among your coworkers
  • Experience providing mentorship and guidance to other product managers a plus

  • We believe that ideas are more important than technologies.
  • We understand that the tools we build have real-world consequences for millions of people and take that responsibility seriously.
  • We know that code isn’t just a set of instructions for machines, but communication with other humans; style, elegance, and respect are important.
  • We believe that an ability to balance paying off technical debt and rapidly completing a project contributes to the health of the codebase, engineering team, and organization.
  • We believe that being correct isn’t enough; respect for your colleagues and users is fundamental.
