ABOUT THE JOB

The ACLU seeks applicants for the full-time position of Revenue Operations Administrator in the Development Department of the ACLU's National office in New York, NY.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Revenue Operations, the Revenue Operations Administrator will report on all ACLU fundraising programs including ACLU Foundation gifts, membership gifts, and Guardian of Liberty and affiliate gifts as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Opening and sorting department mail and processing mail and online donations
  • Preparing donations and creating batches for data entry and deposit
  • Submitting EFT and credit card changes to create or update monthly giving
  • Entering data, including credit card information, on gifts, pledges, members and donors into the fundraising database with speed and accuracy
  • Handling automatic data uploads
  • Assisting with member comments/complaints and providing customer service for Guardian of Liberty members
  • Running regular queries and outputs from the fundraising database
  • Entering batch information into daily log and filing completed batches in network locations and/or storage area
  • Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with fundraising databases
  • Comfortable with calculating numbers
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proven ability to handle multiple types of tasks and meet deadlines
  • Written and verbal communication skills

COMPENSATION

Salary for this position is $64,272. Excellent benefits package provided..
