Director of Operations

The Director for Operations will provide leadership and management over daily operations including 1) implementing and evaluating programmatic initiatives; 2) supervising multiple levels of staff; 3) formulating office policies and procedures; and 4) as appropriate, provide technical support to Board Committees for special initiatives as determined by the Executive Director. The Director of Operations will report to the Executive Director and provide overall leadership and coordination among the various facets of the domestic violence program, working closely with senior management staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 2 years’ non-profit management experience

Knowledge and sensitivity to domestic abuse and trauma-informed dynamics;

Grant administration and managerial skills;

Ability to deal with diverse personalities/culturally competent;

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally;

Capacity for working with detail and ability to organize;

Ability to work independently and to handle demanding situations.
