    Job Description

    FUNCTION:

    The Treatment Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the therapeutic services and case management for children in care at Table of Grace. This position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of high-quality treatment plans that address the physical, mental, and emotional needs of children. The Treatment Director collaborates with various stakeholders, including therapists, case managers, and external partners, to ensure comprehensive care and compliance with agency policies, procedures, and state/federal standards.

    Responsibilities:

      • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of treatment plans for children in care.
      • Supervise licensed therapists and case managers, providing guidance on therapeutic services.
      • Ensure compliance with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) regulations and other relevant standards.
      • Administer and ensure timely CANS 3.0 assessments for all children in care.
      • Ensure that comprehensive assessments, evaluations, screenings, and treatment services are provided within mandated timeframes.
      • Provide training and professional development for clinical staff.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatment plans and services.
      • Coordinate with families, caregivers, and external service providers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
      • Collaborate with community resources to enhance services and support for children and their families.
      • Report progress and updates to the CEO and ensure communication regarding critical care concerns.

    Additional Responsibilities:

      • Implement trauma-informed care practices across the organization.
      • Facilitate regular meetings with the clinical and case management teams.
      • Ensure that all treatment services are evidence-based, evidence-informed, or align with promising practices.
      • Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure high standards of care.

    Minimum Requirements:

      • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
      • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent clinical license.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical supervision within a child welfare, foster care, or residential treatment setting.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of Texas DFPS regulations and child welfare systems.
      • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in trauma-informed care and treatment.
      • Familiarity with the Texas Child-Centered Care (T3C) system and credentialing processes.
      • Experience working with children who have complex emotional, behavioral, or medical needs.

    Starting salary: $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience
