Descripción

The UDW Resource Center (URC) is a dynamic nonprofit workers center that provides organizing support, training and education with caregivers in the public and private sectors throughout California. URC is a space for these workers to organize themselves for better wages and working conditions, to change the care economy to benefit all Californians, and to organize for social, racial, and economic justice. We are dedicated to promoting the dignity and wellbeing of caregivers through leadership development, education, and material support such as food, housing, and healthcare. URC works in partnership with UDW/AFSCME Local 3930 on multiple projects and serves all home care and family child care providers regardless of union affiliation. This organizing program is independent of UDW. As a Program Coordinator at URC, you will have the opportunity to support workers to improve their and their families' lives and create lasting social impact.
