The Airport Coordinator provides meet and greet services for more than 4,000 exchange participants to and from the Unites States primarily at New York area airports and orientations sites. The Airport Coordinator works closely with Travel Department staff and AFS volunteers. The position requires a communicative, thorough, and responsible individual comfortable in a leadership role instructing small and large groups of young adults. A strong individual who balances the dynamics of working long hours in a team-based environment while maintaining efficiency in their individual assignments.

The regular business hours of AFS-USA are Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM EST. However, you may there will be times when hours will be altered due to seasonal fluctuations in workload and will include overtime, evening, and occasional weekend work. The expected duration for this position is mid-June through the end of July. You must be available for the entire duration of the season.
