Center for Inspired Teaching, a Washington DC-based nonprofit that is creating radical change in the school experience for students, away from compliance and toward authentic engagement, is seeking a creative, energetic, highly organized individual to serve as Project Manager.

About Inspired Teaching: We are a social change organization that champions the power of curiosity. We invest in teachers to make school joyful for students. We provide transformative, improvisation-based professional learning for teachers through live programming and the creation and dissemination of resources in the DC region, across the US, and worldwide.

About the position: This position offers an opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of a social change nonprofit with nearly 30 years of impact. The Project Manager will work directly with Inspired Teaching’s President and Director of Teaching and Learning, providing valuable support to both leaders as they manage both day-to-day operations and big-picture strategy. The Project Manager will provide valuable administrative support, and also support the organization through writing, engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders, and participating in programming. The ideal candidate will live in the Washington, DC region and will be able to attend live programming and meetings in person. However, we will also consider candidates who live elsewhere, as this position can be done remotely (including participation in online programming).
