Seeking a passionate self-starter with an investigative and enterprising mindset. The executive assistant will support the President & CEO in advancing the strategic plan by leading administrative functions, engaging the WRAG board, and developing more seamless opportunities for internal collaboration.
The executive assistant will join an inclusive and positive team culture, where joy and balance are prioritized. The executive assistant’s role combines administrative and project management duties and
requires timely, proactive, and accurate correspondence internally and externally. The executive assistant will support the president & CEO and report to the director of strategy and administration.
*** Candidates should be based in the Greater Washington region, as this role is required to be in the office one day per week and attend occasional in-person board and programmatic events.
• Supports the CEO through a combination of project management, writing & editing, research, & high-level relationship support
• Manages calendaring for CEO and board meetings using strategies of kindness, well-being, and productivity
• Takes notes in board and committee meetings as needed & occasionally drafts correspondence for the board and CEO
• Supports the director in coordinating board meeting materials, including collecting information from staff and committees for quarterly updates
• Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, including arranging travel, logistics, coordination for productive CEO meetings
• Occasionally manages special projects as requested by the CEO
• Serves as the point person for office needs including the distribution of key cards, mailbox maintenance, conference room booking, printing billing system, supplies, etc. and directly coordinates with property managers and subtenants as needed
• Scans and logs incoming checks and forwards mailed invoices
• Tracks open IT request for on-site buildings
• Manages some external vendor relationships, including liaising with property management and parking companies
• Partners with the Director & CEO to develop weekly all staff meeting agendas and serves as the notetaker
• Interfaces with staff, fiscally sponsored programs, and other partners to coordinate electronic signature requests
• Assists with SharePoint maintenance as needed
• Partners with the Director of Strategy and Administration by collaborating on member surveys and data collection and analysis
• Supports revenue goals by tracking and following up on membership invoices after the annual membership drive
• Backs programmatic efforts by attending virtual and in-person events, building relationships with members, and leading networking opportunities for administrative peers

• 2-5 years of experience, no educational requirements
• Commitment to racial equity and social justice
• Exceptionally organized with great attention to detail
• Experience in customer service or customer relations
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Technological bravery and self-starter spirit
• Closes communication loops in a timely and efficient manner
• Believes in collaborative processes
• Proficient at moving work forward independently
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office & SharePoint
• Salesforce, Survey Monkey, and other data tool experience a plus
• USD $45,000 – 50,000
