Project managing campaigns to generate revenue from and cultivate individual donors. You will strive to achieve industry standards for new last year and multi-year direct marketing donors by rolling out welcome, renewal, upgrade, conversion and reactivation campaigns to both online and digital supporters.
Purpose: The Donor Marketing Officer will manage digital and offline campaigns aimed at generating revenue and retaining one time and monthly donors.
Engagement: The position will report to the Associate Director, Donor Marketing and work very closely with the Donor Marketing Associate, Donor Development Officer, Senior Digital Marketing Officer and Fundraising Systems team.
Delivery: Project manage, analyze and improve upon direct response and stewardship campaigns to increase donor retention.
KEY ACTIVITIES IN YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE
Project manage campaigns to offline supporters (25%)
- Work with direct mail vendor to roll out renewal and planned giving appeals to offline donors
- Drive the strategy and execution of offline stewardship touchpoints with support for the Donor Marketing Officer, including but not limited to impact reports, thank you postcards, back-end premiums, and holiday/birthday/anniversary cards
- Update welcome process and collateral for offline supporters
- Collaborate with Fundraising Systems team on creating a dashboard for offline giving
Oversee monthly giving upgrade, renewal, and reactivation campaigns (25%)
- Engage with vendors to roll out email, telemarketing and voicemail broadcasting activities to thank, upgrade and reactivate monthly donors
- Manage monthly giving reporting and KPI measurement
- Work closely with the Donor Care Officer to ensure that monthly donors receive excellent donor care and proactive outreach for lapsing and failed gifts
Manage Peer to Peer Donor Program (20%)
- Oversees Fundraise Against Hunger, the peer-to-peer donor program as well as Facebook Fundraisers, i.e. acquiring, welcoming, stewarding and cross selling
Stewardship Activities (15%)
- Lead on Donor Appreciate Week
- Project manage stewardship activities like thank you calls, broadcast SMS messages, impact pieces and holiday cards

Working Conditions, Travel and Environment
- The duties of the job require regular job attendance at least five days per week. Must be available to work outside normal office hours or on the weekends as required by contact with the missions, mission security, or other obligations.
- Must be able to travel as required for standard domestic and international business travel as well as to the missions if appropriate. While visiting the field, the employee may be exposed to precarious settings under high security risks and/or very basic living conditions and outside weather conditions, as well is to infectious diseases.

DO YOU MEET THE PROFILE REQUIRED CRITERIA?
Required Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Five to seven year’s experience in a similar role
- Excellent project management skills and experience with project management tools
- Entrepreneurial and driven, with a previous track record in retention campaign management of both digital and “traditional” offline donors
- Previous vendor management experience essential
- In-depth experience of monthly giving programs
- Very proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite as well as Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce CRMs
- Experience with digital fundraising platforms like Fundraise, Classy etc
- Strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail as well as the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Flexible and open to change within a growing team
- Fluency in written and oral English is required
