The Project Manager (PM) is a critical member of the Strategic Initiatives (SI) team. The mission of the SI Team is to ensure the organization achieves its most important goals by linking long-term business plans to annual goals and budgets through inclusion and effective org-wide structures and practices. Responsibilities include owning the development, training, rollout, and ongoing adoption of consistent and effective Change Management and Project Management standards, practices, and tools at College Track. This role will directly manage large org-wide impactful cross-functional projects and require a high degree of collaboration and coordination between national, regional, and site teams.
The ideal candidate will have deep project management expertise with a passion for leading cross-functional project teams toward improved outcomes. Thrives working cross-functionally in a highly collaborative way, can balance “getting things done” with connecting with people. Can delve deeply into details at times while also having the ability to step out of the weeds to see the broader picture. Able to lead strategic conversations to approach problem-solving and get to final decisions creatively. We seek someone who enjoys working with others at all levels across the organization in service of our mission. This position reports to the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. This role is one national position based in any of the following locations: Oakland, CA; New Orleans, LA; Denver, CO; Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Project Management (PM) and Change Management (CM) (~70%)
Build, evolve, and rollout PM & CM resources (~30%)
