    Descripción

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Development Associate leads RBAC’s annual giving program and supports gift processing, stewardship, donor communications, and data/reporting. You’ll partner closely with Marketing/Communications, Programs, and Finance to grow awareness and philanthropic revenue while delivering a great donor experience.

    What You’ll Do

    • Annual Giving & Campaigns (40%)
    • Build and execute a year-round solicitation plan (direct mail, email, digital, social); manage segments, year-end appeal, monthly giving, and campaign analytics.
    • Donor Portfolio & Stewardship (30%)
    • Manage a portfolio of annual donors/prospects; conduct purposeful outreach; ensure timely acknowledgments, thank-you letters, impact updates; support donor events.
    • Data, Systems & Reporting (20%)
    • Serve as CRM data steward (currently DonorPerfect); track interactions; produce giving trend reports; partner with Finance on gift entry and reconciliation; assist with prospect research.
    • Cross-Functional & Other (10%)
    • Collaborate across RBAC to cultivate corporate/community partnerships; contribute to donor communications, budgeting/forecasting; stay current on fundraising best practices.

    What You’ll Bring

    Required

    • BA/BS or equivalent experience in fundraising or related field.
    • Commitment to RBAC’s mission and values; ability to represent RBAC to diverse donors and communities.
    • Strong project management, attention to detail, and relationship-building skills; excellent written/verbal communication.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems; ability to lift 25 lbs; reliable transportation; evening/weekend availability as needed.

    Preferred

    • 2+ years in nonprofit development or donor relations; annual giving experience a plus.
    • Experience with donor CRMs (e.g., DonorPerfect) and online fundraising tools.

    Work Environment

    Primarily office-based with occasional on-site event support and periodic evening/weekend hours; some local travel with mileage reimbursement.
