    Descripción

    The Nova Institute for Health, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a motivated grant coordinator with excellent interpersonal, writing/communication, and organizational skills to manage grant applications for public and private funding sources.

    The grant coordinator will take the lead on identifying promising funding opportunities by researching foundations, corporations, and/or government entities aligned with Nova’s strategic priorities. Additional responsibilities include tracking in-progress grant applications; scheduling strategy meetings and check-ins with project teams; writing, editing, assembling, and submitting proposal materials; assisting with budget preparation; ensuring adherence to deadlines; completing all required grant reporting; and cultivating positive relationships with the Nova community and external stakeholders.

    This role is well-suited for a strong writer who enjoys stewarding the entire grant lifecycle from start to finish. We’re looking for a natural storyteller who can bring our mission and vision to life and someone who is enthusiastic about seeking out creative opportunities to support the innovative work of our Scholars and Fellows.

    This is a remote, part-time freelance position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week and reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Development.

    Nivel de Idiomas

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Five to ten years of relevant experience as grant writer with skills in identifying, researching, and writing grants to foundations, government, corporate, and/or other philanthropic organizations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills
    • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
    • High degree of flexibility, efficiency, and initiative in work style
