THIS OPPORTUNITY
The Development Officer reports to the Development Manager and is a member of the Advancement team. The Development Officer will play a key role in creating and implementing the administrative activities that are the backbone for campaign management, major gifts fundraising, projects and events. The top responsibilities for this role include: 1) conducting gift entry, processing, reconciliation and acknowledgment; 2) enhancing the development team’s use of its CRM, Salesforce, by entering data, editing and entering contact reports, and creating next steps in a CRM (Salesforce); 3) supporting a highly effective grants program regularly generating $500k+ annually; and 4) leading administrative projects to support the team. To excel in their role, the development officer will be a detail-orientated professional with a penchant for performing tasks efficiently and accurately. They will also be highly organized and able to routinize recurring responsibilities. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service orientation and is experienced with a cloud-based CRM system such as Salesforce.
