Program Coordinator

The Goldie B. Wolfe Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative® (The Goldie Initiative) is a 501(c) (3) public charity. Our mission is to prepare women for senior leadership roles in all sectors of commercial real estate. We do this by providing scholarship support for graduate study, mentorship and networking opportunities to women with high potential who are committed to becoming leaders in the real estate industry.

 We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will be a valuable contributor to the entire Goldie Initiative team. In this position you will spend approximately 60% of your time supporting The Goldie Scholars program which includes scholarship and career development activities. This would include data entry of Scholar information and coordinating activities on your virtual mentoring platform. You will also participate and assist with event planning, communications, social media, website updates, and general overall administrative support of the program. As the coordinator, you will also spend approximately 40% of your time supporting fundraising and gala activities.

In this role you will develop or increase your nonprofit and program experience. You will be part of team that designs and implements career development programming. You will also interact with engage with commercial real estate industry leaders who support, volunteer, and attend our events.

Responsibilities:

Goldie Scholars Program -- Under the direction of the Program Director, this position will be responsible for the following activities:

• Coordinate the scholarship application and selection process
• Support event logistics for scholar events including day-of logistics for all events
• Set up and facilitate platforms (zoom) for virtual events
• Maintain and update the CRM database regarding:
• Assist in and attend scholarship recruitment activities and events
• Maintain Mentorship Rocket functionality through
• Maintain job board on website
• Communicate with scholars and mentors as directed
• Support volunteer committee meeting logistics and communications
• Carry out assigned program-related administrative tasks

Communications:

• Maintain communications calendars and coordinate content development with team members
• Update and maintain website as directed
• Support email marketing activities by uploading content into platform (Constant Contact) and manage mailing lists

Fundraising/Gala:

•  Participate in event planning, logistics, and vendor management
• Attend event and participate in event-night logistics
• Coordinate gala video production

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in the non-profit sector is desirable
• Experience and a high-level of comfort in working with database systems or CRM and data entry
• Eager to learn
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion, Integrity and Energy
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a self-starter as well as collaboratively among a team
• Proficiency in MS Suite, Outlook required. Experience with Donor Management Systems (e.g. Little Green Light), Constant Contact, WordPress a plus
