To fuel this mission, and achieve the bold priorities for people and wildlife outlined in our strategic vision, the Gift Planning Officer (GPO) identifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards donors, prospects, and their financial advisors for the purpose of raising bequest revenue and securing deferred gifts (charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts etc.) in support of the National Wildlife Federation. The GPO will engage prospective and current donors through visits, phone calls, correspondence, events, and develop tailored strategies for securing support from and stewarding donors.
This is an exciting time of growth and expansion at NWF, and this role is ideal for an entrepreneurial self-starter seeking opportunities to contribute meaningfully toward the goal of achieving substantial increases in planned and outright giving in the years ahead.
Our location is flexible. There is an option to be entirely remote or to work (when deemed safe and appropriate) in an NWF office.

The National Wildlife Federation closely follows the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Disease and has implemented processes that promote the safety of our employees, candidates, and communities. Because the health of our employees and candidates is a top priority, we conduct our hiring process virtually via phone or video until further notice. We are currently starting our positions as remote, but will transition to onsite work when our offices re-open, expected to be in early 2022. Proof of vaccination will be required to join the National Wildlife Federation.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position pays $90,000 - $100,000.
