Position Summary
The Manager, Partnership Development will play an essential role in executing the organization’s development and communication strategies. Working collaboratively with the Partnership Development team, Chief Executive Officer, and Board of Directors, the Manager ensures that our internal growth and evolution is effectively captured through our development and communication efforts. Additionally, this role will require consistent, explicit and ongoing collaboration with program teammates to ensure a united and clear connection between the work happening on the ground and communication with funders and partners. This role requires someone with significant customer relationship management, nonprofit development, and/or sales experience; clear communication skills, steadfast attention to detail and a relentless commitment to our work.
Location
This role follows typical Monday through Fridaywork hours and can be done 85% remotely at this time. NewRoot’s West Loop office is where we gather for collaboration and culture-building, and is available for deep focus work when needed. At least quarterly, travel to NewRoot events and/or partner sites throughout the Chicagoland Area will be required and regionally and/or nationally as the work expands. We are committed to a long-term flexible, hybrid work model.
