Position Summary
The Program Coordinator provides administrative support to the Program Director to help maintain and expand high quality fitness programs for women at every stage of cancer treatment and recovery.
Skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Good problem solving and willingness to learn
- Great interpersonal skills (professionalism, empathy, and clarity)
- Preferred: some interest in fitness, health promotion, equity, healthcare improvement
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience demonstrating required skills
Responsibilities
- Member engagement such as:
- Act as the first point of contact for new and returning members; help members find a good fit from among our programs and assist with registration and other questions.
- Help plan and attend member events; may require occasional evening/weekend hours.
- Volunteer/Instructor engagement such as:
- Support program leads in completing requirements, reporting hours, and accessing supplies
- Coordinate with and support program leads to provide accurate information for member activities
- Administrative support such as:
- Enter data into office systems such as program registration and partner tracking software
- Support basic reporting needs for internal planning and external communications
- Assist staff with outreach materials as needed
- Help review member-facing information to ensure continued accuracy
- Outreach support such as:
- Distribute Team Survivor materials and act as an ambassador of Team Survivor to potential partners
- Assist with and participate in outreach campaigns or events
- In all interactions, promote a culture of inclusion and celebration of diversity
- Other duties as assigned
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
Part time—30 hours per week. Pay rate is $23-$29/hr. Hybrid (Seattle area)
Start Date
Flexible. Ideally, candidate will start around the end of June. For the right candidate, we may work out a start date that is sooner or slightly later.
