    Position Title: Donor Services Manager

    Location: Remote (USA)

    Salary: $78,000-$90,000

    Status: Full-time, salaried, exempt

    Reports to: Director of Philanthropy Operations

    HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR MISSION:

    • Direct and manage all aspects of gift entry and receipting to ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting.
    • Enhance and maintain all aspects of Rainforest Trust's CRM/donor database.
    • Provide accurate and insightful reporting and visualizations of fundraising progress to varying stakeholders. Analyze and report on fundraising progress to inform fundraising and marketing strategy.
    • Ensure compliance with Rainforest Trust's Donor Privacy Policy, as well as national and international data privacy laws.
    • Establish, document, and disseminate standard operating procedures in service of highly collaborative and streamlined functions.
    • Successfully coach a small team of Donor Services professionals.

    TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, WE'RE HOPING YOU'LL HAVE:

    • Strong experience with Salesforce. You will need to develop and maintain internal controls in service of data integrity and hygiene. You have a strong track record learning and innovating using new resources and tools.
    • Experience in data analysis and reporting. We hope you have experience with large data sets and taking complex data and creating visual and insightful reports for key organizational decision-makers. This role will also require you to develop departmental resources and standard operating procedures to ensure data integrity and hygiene. You will need to take complex data and create visual and insightful reports for key organizational decision-makers.
    • Strong project and process management skills. This includes expertise in industry best practices. We also expect you to have a basic understanding of national and international data privacy laws.
    • Previous experience collaborating with accounting and finance teams. For this, you will need a basic understanding of financial reporting.
    • Experience developing and managing a small team. As a manager, strong leadership, communication and team management skills are vital for this role. And of course, experience working with a non-profit philanthropy team is an asset.
    • Strong technical proficiency. We hope you have a strong working competency with G-Suite and MS Suite, specifically a strong proficiency in Excel. Experience using various tools such as project management software (e.g. Asana) is a plus.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

    Rainforest Trust is a remote first organization and the incumbent will be expected to work primarily from home with an excellent internet connection, though part-time office space may be available in Warrenton, VA and/or Washington DC. Occasional national and/or international travel may be required for organizational meetings and other events.

    ANTICIPATED SALARY

    The salary range for this position is $78,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience. This base compensation range represents the anticipated low and high range of wages for this position. Salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
