    Berkshire County Kids' Place & Violence Prevention Center, Inc. is a fully accredited Children’s Advocacy Center dedicated to supporting youth who have experienced trauma, including physical and sexual abuse or exposure to domestic violence. We provide a safe, compassionate environment where healing begins through trauma-focused therapy, advocacy, forensic interviewing, and more.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead and support our team of mental health clinicians and interns. This role involves overseeing trauma-focused therapy services, providing clinical supervision, carrying a small caseload, and supporting forensic interviews. The Clinical Supervisor also ensures the quality of client mental health records and serves as a key mental health resource for the Berkshire County Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).

    Key Responsibilities

      • Provide individual and group clinical supervision to clinicians and interns, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality care.
      • Serve as a mental health resource for the Berkshire County MDT, actively participating in case reviews and supporting forensic interviews.
      • Manage mental health referrals, oversee the onboarding of new clinicians, and assign cases appropriately.
      • Carry a small caseload of child and adolescent trauma cases.
      • Lead weekly clinical team meetings and facilitate clinical case reviews to ensure effective treatment approaches.
      • Oversee mental health and group therapy outreach initiatives within the organization and broader community.
      • Represent Kids' Place at community meetings, events, and professional advisory boards.
      • Stay informed on best practices in child abuse treatment and advocacy through ongoing training and education.
      • Provide direct trauma-focused therapy to child and adolescent victims of abuse and domestic violence, as well as therapeutic services to non-offending caregivers.

    Qualifications

      • Master’s degree in a mental health-related field.
      • Independent mental health license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent).
      • Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) or willingness to obtain certification within the first year.
      • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of childhood trauma.
      • Strong understanding of the multidisciplinary team approach in child abuse investigations and advocacy.
      • Demonstrated ability to design, manage, and evaluate clinical programs.
