Insight Garden Program (IGP) is seeking a full-time Development Manager. Our ideal candidate is someone who is excited to join a dynamic team that will support the management and growth of diverse funding streams for IGP. They are passionate about social, criminal, and environmental justice and excited to support IGP’s sustainability and strategic growth in California and nationally.
Founded in 2002, IGP is a nonprofit organization that facilitates an innovative 48-week curriculum that combines environmental education, permaculture gardening, “inner gardening” and reentry skills. Our core purpose is to reconnect people to self, community, and the natural world in prisons and beyond. We currently run our program in ten California state prisons and provide reentry support to all IGP participants.

The Development Manager is a key staff person in IGP’s efforts to grow and sustain our government and philanthropic funding for programs in prisons, reentry, and the community. They will work closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director and collaborate with the communications coordinator, grant writing consultants, managers, and our advisory committees. This staff person will support the development and implementation of IGP's short and long term fundraising strategy. This is an exciting moment to join the IGP team as we celebrate 20 years of our nationally recognized work.

Salary & Benefits: This is a full-time position with a target start date of July 1, 2022. IGP offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits package which includes cell phone/internet stipend; medical, dental, and vision insurance; and unlimited PTO.
Location: This is a remote position; being based in California is preferred.
