    What We’re Looking For:

FoodCorps is seeking a well-rounded Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing, Communications, and Campaigns department. This role will be responsible for email marketing, website management, and support of social media initiatives, playing a critical role in advancing FoodCorps’ overall digital marketing strategy. This is a full-time, remote position that reports to the Director of Digital Marketing. Occasional travel may be required for content-gathering and team meetings.

    Who You Are:

You are passionate about FoodCorps’ mission and dedication to food justice and racial equity. You are a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing email marketing campaigns, coordinating website updates, and driving performance through data analysis. You have a knack for creating and distributing compelling content, ensuring that timelines are met, and digital channels are integrated seamlessly. Collaboration comes naturally to you, as you will work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to align messaging and assist in content creation. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and are always looking for ways to optimize and enhance the digital user experience. If you are analytical, creative, and excited about the impact of digital marketing in advancing our mission, we’d love to hear from you!

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Email Marketing - 50%

    • Collaboratively develop and execute email marketing campaigns for segmented audiences, including policy and advocacy updates, corps member recruitment, and fundraising efforts
    • Implement strategies to grow and retain email subscribers, utilizing A/B testing and iterative optimization of email elements to improve engagement and conversion rates
    • Create, maintain, and optimize email marketing campaigns to support integrated supporter journeys
    • Track, analyze, and report on key email marketing performance metrics to inform future strategies

    Website Management - 30%

    • Oversee day-to-day website management, ensuring timely content updates and technical functionality. Train internal teams on basic CMS usage as needed
    • Ensure website content is accurate, user-friendly, optimized for SEO, and aligned with organizational priorities, campaigns, and branding guidelines
    • Support the Director of Digital Marketing in managing large-scale website projects, working closely with our external web agency to ensure timely and effective execution
    • Track, analyze, and report on key website performance metrics, using insights to improve user experience and content effectiveness

Admin and Social Media Support - 20%

    • Contribute to the digital marketing content calendar, coordinating timelines and ensuring alignment of content distribution across email, website, and other digital channels
    • Ensure all marketing campaigns are coordinated with relevant teams for a seamless user experience across social, web, and email
    • Support the development of paid ad content, in coordination with the Director of Digital Marketing
    • Assist with the creation, scheduling, and community management of social media content, in collaboration with the Social Media Coordinator

    Measures of Success:

By the end of year 1, the Digital Marketing Manager will have:

    • Improved overall email engagement rates by 10% and increased total email subscribers by 15%
    • Optimized and maintained email marketing automation workflows, ensuring seamless supporter journeys and timely, relevant communication for key audience segments
    • Trained relevant staff on basic CMS usage, reducing dependency on the digital team for routine updates and empowering internal teams to manage their own content efficiently
    • Developed robust data reporting processes for email marketing and website performance, regularly presenting actionable recommendations that lead to continuous improvement of digital strategies
    • Effectively collaborated with internal teams to ensure that email and website content aligns with organizational goals and successfully contributes to campaigns
