  • Serve as a representative and advocate for NVP within the community.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director to ensure donor requirements and funding restrictions are communicated, supporting accountability and reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and program leads to enhance fundraising activities and communications.
  • Prepare and provide detailed development data analysis to track fundraising results for staff and board review, ensuring that research and data inform all decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fund development, management, and leadership.
  • Residency in Napa County or familiarity with the local community and culture.
  • Demonstrated track record in soliciting and securing major gifts ($10,000 and above) and grants ($100,000 and above).
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, digital file management, web-based research tools, donor CRM, and search tools like Virtuous and Donor Search.
  • Ability to work remotely and be ready to travel for donor meetings and events in Napa County and beyond.

  • Proactive, strategic thinker, able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of building personal rapport and effective working relationships with board members, staff, donors, organizational partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and managing fundraising plans and budgets informed by data and research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, to align with our community outreach goals.

Personal Attributes:
