STATUS: Full-time

SALARY RANGE: $60,000-$70,000


Established in 1985 and serving the Greater Bridgeport region, RYASAP (Regional Youth Adult Social Action Partnership) works to ensure the safe and healthy development of youth, young adults, and families by actively engaging organizations, public officials, and community leaders around issues that matter most to the community. By creating a “neutral table,” community members bring energy and focus, allowing candid conversations to emerge and the catalyst for change to begin. RYASAP’s work tackles the tough issues teens, their families, and their communities face: Community violence prevention, gambling/substance use education, juvenile justice reform, mediation, personal safety, suicide prevention, teen relationships, urban education reform, and youth leadership. RYASAP’s work has created statewide “best practice” models for other programs and communities’ adoption.

Position Goal:

A mission-minded business analyst needed to support the management team at a leading CT nonprofit. Your efforts will help us increase our impact on at-risk youth, their families, and their communities as you strengthen our internal processes, systems, and infrastructure. This is a great position for the curious individual with proven process management and improvement skills who is also interested in exploring the many facets of running a human service organization. This is NOT a remote position. It'll be critical that you are able to interact in-person with team members at all levels and in all programs.

RYASAP is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut.


Operations (70%):

A. Identifies and prioritizes improvement to internal operational documentation and creates new documentation to advance operations across the organization.

B. Analyzes organizational needs and documents effective processes/procedures that govern internal operations and best practices for the organization.

C. Creates processes for training and assists with training on new/updated operational procedures.

D. Manages various Organizational projects adding capacity and thought partnership where appropriate in the following areas: Finance, Development/Grants, Human Resources, Technology, and general Operations.

E. Develops accountability systems and feedback loops to be managed by Program Directors to ensure compliance with internal operations, budgeting, data entry, and reporting.

F. Monitors systems and recommends opportunities to redirect resources to improve performance and efficiency.

Salesforce CRM (25%):

A. Works with staff to define improvements to Salesforce to increase client focus and outcome measurement, define procedures for data entry and create program/initiative specific working manuals for the Salesforce system.

B. Supports staff training in the Salesforce CRM system by providing access to relevant resources, materials, and applying the concepts learned in training.

C. Works with the other Operations and Data staff to provide Salesforce technical assistance to staff.

Professional Development (5%):

A. Self-train and upskill through online programs and professional training to improve role effectiveness.


● Minimum of 5-7 years of increasingly responsible leadership positions

● Keen understanding of nonprofit organizations and the dynamics of their operations.

Strong relationship development skills, interpersonal, and interviewing skills and able to use them in creating systems and processes within an organization.

● Experience providing training, coaching, and mentoring to others.

● Advanced understanding of organizational processes, workflows, and systems.

● Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Proficient in utilizing the latest technological tools for communication, record-keeping, and documentation.

● Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to write and present for a variety of audiences.


● Bachelor’s degree and/or training with an advanced degree in social services, business, and/or public administration is preferred.

● Operations, finance, administration, and data management experience and/or disciplines preferred.


● Must be a self-driven leader with a high level of integrity and positivity.

● Must be an individual who can work independently and fit into the RYASAP culture.

● Must be collaborative, and able to envision a bright future.
