While young people from low-income communities – who are disproportionately young people of color – face systemic inequities in school, in the workforce, and in life, they possess unique strengths, resilience and tremendous potential. When provided with support and resources, these young people fulfill their potential and achieve success in school, work and life.

Through a combination of mentoring and transformative experiences, Summer Search supports young people to successfully transition from adolescence into adulthood. We aim to unleash the potential of our young people while also building a toolkit for navigating and challenging systemic barriers to higher education and career opportunities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This summer, Summer Search plans to send an estimated 600 high school students from across 5 regions on programs that range from wilderness experiences to college campus academic programs. Summer Search is seeking a Project Manager to lead the preparation, organization, training, and management of the delivery of our On-Call Support System to provide 24hr on-call support to high school program staff, students, families and summer program partners throughout the student travel season. As part of the National Program Team, the Project Manager will contribute to an essential component of our Summer Experience programming and the overall National Program Team support for our local site operations. The Project Manager will join a growing team committed to continuous learning, wellbeing, and social and racial justice.
